Job Description
A-Z Yachting is looking for a qualified Second Officer to support navigational operations, bridge watchkeeping, safety management, and routine yacht operations.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Maintain navigational watches as assigned.
- Assist with passage planning and navigation records.
- Support safety inspections and emergency drills.
- Assist with deck operations and maintenance.
- Ensure navigation equipment and relevant records are maintained properly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar yacht officer position.
- Appropriate Officer of the Watch qualification or Certificate of Competency.
- Valid STCW certificates and medical certificate, as applicable.
- Good English communication skills.
- Knowledge of navigation, bridge procedures, and onboard safety requirements.
