Job Description:

Rooster Recruitment is seeking an experienced Second Officer for sailing and motor yachts operating worldwide. The successful candidate will support safe navigation, bridge watchkeeping, passage planning, and deck operations in accordance with maritime regulations and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with navigation and passage planning.
• Maintaining navigational charts, publications, and bridge documentation.
• Performing bridge watchkeeping duties as assigned.
• Supporting deck operations, safety drills, and emergency preparedness.
• Ensuring compliance with maritime safety procedures and operational standards.

Requirements:

• Appropriate Second Officer qualifications and certificates.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate, where required.
• Valid passport and relevant seafarer documentation.
• Previous sailing yacht or motor yacht experience.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork abilities.
