Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Officer responsible for ensuring full environmental compliance onboard the vessel. The role involves managing, monitoring, and supporting shipboard personnel in adhering to national and international environmental laws and regulations. The Environmental Officer plays a key role in promoting sustainable practices, conducting training, and maintaining high standards of environmental protection across various vessel types and itineraries.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Ensuring compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and company policies
• Monitoring and managing environmental protection procedures onboard
• Conducting training and raising environmental awareness among crew
• Assisting departments in meeting environmental and public health standards
• Coordinating with regulatory authorities and supporting inspections

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates (STCW95)
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC A-II/2)
• Completed courses: Train the Trainer, Public Health, Sanitation, Environmental Training
• Extensive experience as an Environmental Officer on various vessel types
