Job Description:

Rooster Recruitment is seeking a qualified Chief Officer to join sailing or motor yacht operations worldwide. The successful candidate will assist the Captain with navigation, deck operations, crew supervision, and onboard safety while ensuring the yacht is maintained to a high operational standard.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with navigation, passage planning, and bridge operations.
• Supervising deck crew and coordinating daily deck activities.
• Managing mooring, anchoring, and deck maintenance operations.
• Supporting safety drills and emergency preparedness.
• Ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and onboard procedures.

Requirements:

• Relevant Chief Officer qualifications and certificates.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate, where required.
• Valid passport and relevant seafarer documentation.
• Previous sailing yacht or motor yacht experience.
• Good English communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational and teamwork abilities.
