Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified 2nd Officer responsible for maintaining a safe navigational watch on the Bridge during all vessel operations, including at sea, at anchor, and in port. The 2nd Officer will support the Safety Officer and Navigation Officer in all assigned duties, ensuring compliance with the Master’s or Staff Captain’s instructions. The role requires strong navigational expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to operate across various vessel types and itineraries while adhering to international maritime standards.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Maintaining a safe navigational watch in all operational conditions
• Assisting the Safety Officer and Navigation Officer in daily duties
• Using and updating navigational charts and publications
• Monitoring navigational warnings, routing information, and tide data
• Ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and bridge procedures

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates (STCW95)
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC A-II/1)
• Strong knowledge of navigational charts, sailing directions, tide tables, and maritime publications
• Experience as a 2nd Officer on relevant vessel types
