Job Description:
A Motorman is required to join a Ro-Pax vessel with a scheduled start date of 16 August 2026. The position is offered on a 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off rotation.
The successful candidate must have valid Basic STCW certification, good English communication skills, and the legal right to work in the UK. Passenger Certification is also required and can be completed online.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist the engineering department with routine machinery operation and maintenance.
Support inspections, repairs, and upkeep of engine room equipment.
Monitor machinery and report defects or operational issues to engineering officers.
Maintain clean, safe, and organised engine room working areas.
Follow vessel safety procedures and passenger vessel operational requirements.
Requirements:
Valid Basic STCW certification.
Good command of English.
Valid UK Right to Work.
Passenger Certification – can be completed online.
Valid medical fitness certificate and seafarer documentation.
Previous Motorman / engine room experience.
