Job Description

The Motorman will assist the engineering team with machinery operation, engine-room rounds, routine maintenance, and monitoring of equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engine-room rounds and monitor machinery conditions.
• Assist with lubrication, cleaning, and routine maintenance.
• Report abnormal sounds, temperatures, leaks, or vibrations.
• Support engineers during inspections and repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with engine-room safety procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant marine engineering training or experience.
• Previous shipboard engine-room experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of machinery maintenance and safe working practices.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate, as applicable.
• Good English communication and teamwork skills.
