JOB DESCRIPTION
Carnival Cruise Line is looking for dedicated individuals to join the Engine Team as Assistant Motormen.
As an Assistant Motorman, you will assist with the maintenance and operation of the ship’s engines and related technical equipment under the supervision of senior engineering personnel. Your work will play an important role in keeping the vessel operating safely and efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with maintenance of main and auxiliary engines, emergency diesel generators, air compressors, and lifeboat engines under the supervision of the Senior Motorman.
- Participate in major maintenance and repair works as part of the Engineering Team.
- Participate in Water Shuttle operations as Lifeboat Motorman, when required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Senior 1st Engineer.
- As per company policy, ensure all Occupational Health & Safety procedures are followed and participate in all required safety training and drills.

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 12 months of experience in engine repair and maintenance.
- High School Diploma and technical training.
- Applicants must be 21+ years old.
- Basic Training Certificates in accordance with STCW standards.
- English language proficiency.
- Strong focus on shipboard safety management.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Medical fitness for work onboard a cruise vessel.
Preferred:
- Previous shipboard experience in the same capacity, particularly onboard a cruise ship.
