Job Description
Rooster Recruitment is seeking qualified and experienced yacht crew for multiple positions onboard sailing and motor yachts operating worldwide.

Open Positions & Monthly Salaries
Deck Department
- Captain – Salary to be confirmed
- Chief Officer – EUR 6,000/month
- 2nd Officer – EUR 7,000/month
- Bosun – EUR 5,000/month
- Deck/Carpenter – EUR 5,000/month
- Lead Deckhand – EUR 4,200/month
- Deckhand – EUR 3,750/month
Engineering Department
- 2nd Engineer – EUR 6,000/month
- 3rd Engineer – USD 5,000/month
Interior Department
- Chief Steward(ess) – EUR 8,500/month
- 2nd Steward(ess) – EUR 4,500/month
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Deck Department: Assist with navigation, deck operations, mooring, anchoring, yacht maintenance, and water-sports or tender operations as applicable to the position.
- Engineering Department: Maintain and monitor yacht machinery, propulsion systems, generators, and auxiliary equipment.
- Interior Department: Deliver high standards of housekeeping, guest service, table service, and onboard hospitality.
- Senior Officers and Department Heads: Supervise crew, coordinate daily operations, and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
- Maintain professional conduct, teamwork, and excellent standards of cleanliness, safety, and service onboard.
Requirements
- Relevant maritime qualifications and certificates for the position applied for.
- Valid STCW certificates appropriate to the role.
- Valid seafarer’s medical fitness certificate, where required.
- Valid passport and relevant seafarer documentation.
- Previous sailing yacht or motor yacht experience relevant to the position.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong teamwork, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in an international yacht environment and meet the expectations of owners and guests.
- Additional qualifications and specialist experience may be required depending on the position.
