Job Description

Vela Recruitment is seeking qualified and experienced maritime professionals to join a Motor Yacht operating in European waters.

The company is currently recruiting engineering, deck, and interior crew members. Successful candidates should have relevant experience in their respective positions and be able to maintain high standards of safety, professionalism, and onboard service.

Open Positions and Salaries

Engineering Department

• Sole Engineer – EUR 9,000/month
• 3rd Engineer – EUR 5,000/month

Deck Department

• Deckhand – EUR 4,000/month

Interior Department

• Chief Steward(ess) – EUR 6,000/month

Galley Department

• Cook / Crew Chef – EUR 4,000/month

Key Responsibilities

• Perform duties according to the assigned position
• Maintain the vessel's operational readiness and safety standards
• Carry out engineering, deck, interior, or galley duties as applicable
• Maintain equipment and assigned working areas
• Provide professional service and support to guests and crew where required
• Follow onboard procedures and work effectively as part of the yacht crew

Requirements

• Previous experience in the same or a relevant position onboard motor yachts
• Relevant maritime or professional qualifications for the applied role
• Valid STCW certificates, where applicable
• Valid seafarer's medical certificate, where applicable
• Good English communication skills
• Professional attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a yacht environment
