Job Description
Asian Shipping Corporation – Cebu Office is urgently hiring qualified crew members for domestic/interisland shipping operations in the Philippines. The company is seeking licensed deck and engine officers, as well as ratings and catering personnel, to join its fleet. Candidates should be qualified for their respective positions and ready for deployment.
Available Positions
- Deck Officer (OIC, MAP, MIP & BC3 License)
- Engine Officer (OIC, MDM1&2 & MTM License)
- Quarter Master
- Oiler
- Ordinary Seaman
- Cook
- Wiper
- OS/Welder
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Performing duties according to the assigned rank and company procedures.
- Maintaining safe vessel operations and compliance with maritime regulations.
- Conducting routine maintenance and inspections of deck or engine equipment.
- Following all safety and emergency procedures onboard.
- Working effectively with the crew to ensure efficient vessel operations.
Requirements
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Appropriate licenses and certificates for the position applied for (e.g., OIC, MAP, MIP, BC3, MDM1&2, MTM where applicable).
- Previous experience in a similar position is preferred.
