Job Description

We are recruiting qualified and experienced crew members for a range of technical, deck, culinary, housekeeping, laundry and medical positions onboard a Cruise Liner.

Candidates should have relevant experience in the applied position, valid maritime and professional certifications, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural cruise environment.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on the position, duties may include:

• Carrying out all responsibilities associated with the assigned position.
• Supporting safe and efficient cruise vessel operations.
• Maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, hygiene and service.
• Operating and maintaining machinery, electrical systems or deck equipment as applicable.
• Preparing and serving high-quality food in accordance with company standards.
• Maintaining guest and crew areas in excellent condition.
• Following company policies, onboard procedures and applicable maritime regulations.
• Participating in safety drills, emergency procedures and training.
• Working professionally within a multinational crew and hospitality environment.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in the same or similar position, preferably onboard cruise liners or passenger vessels.
• Valid STCW certificates, where applicable to the position.
• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) and/or relevant professional qualification, where required.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid Seaman’s Book and passport, where applicable.
• Good command of English.
• Strong teamwork, communication and service skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural and demanding onboard environment.
• Additional position-specific certificates may be required.

Position-Specific Requirements

2nd Engineer: Valid engineering CoC and relevant engine-room experience.

2nd Electrical Engineer: Relevant electrical/electro-technical qualification and experience with marine electrical systems.

Able Seaman: Valid STCW II/5 certification and relevant deck experience.

Tailor: Professional tailoring/sewing experience, preferably within cruise or hospitality operations.

Sous Chef / Jr. Sous Chef: Professional culinary qualifications and previous experience in a high-volume kitchen environment; cruise experience is an advantage.

Commis 2 – Pantry / Commis Cook / 3rd Cook: Relevant professional kitchen experience and knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Line Cook: Experience working on a professional kitchen line in a busy hospitality environment.

Pastry Cook: Experience in pastry, bakery and dessert production with relevant food-safety knowledge.

Provision Utility: Experience supporting food stores, provisioning and galley logistics preferred.

Housekeeping Utility / Utility Cleaner: Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience with strong attention to cleanliness and detail.

Laundry Attendant: Experience operating commercial laundry equipment and handling linen and uniforms preferred.

Doctor: Valid medical qualification and authorization to practice, together with relevant experience in an onboard, maritime, emergency or clinical environment as required by the vessel.
