Job Description

ISLA Yacht Group is currently seeking qualified and experienced maritime professionals to join a Motor Yacht operating in the UK and USA.

The company is recruiting crew members for engineering, deck, and interior department positions. Successful candidates will be expected to perform their duties professionally, maintain high operational and safety standards, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the yacht.

Open Positions

Engineering Department

• 2nd Engineer – USD 7,000

Deck Department

• Bosun – USD 5,000
• Deckhand – USD 3,500

Interior Department

• Steward(ess) – USD 3,750
• 2nd Steward(ess) – USD 3,500

Key Responsibilities

Depending on the assigned position, duties may include:

• Support safe and efficient yacht operations
• Perform engineering, deck, or interior duties according to rank
• Maintain machinery, deck equipment, and onboard facilities
• Assist with guest services and maintain high hospitality standards
• Ensure cleanliness, organisation, and operational readiness
• Follow onboard safety procedures and company policies
• Work effectively as part of a professional yacht crew

Requirements

• Relevant experience in the position applied for
• Previous motor yacht experience preferred
• Valid STCW certificates appropriate to the position
• Valid seafarer's documents and medical certificate
• Good English communication skills
• Professional attitude and strong teamwork abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural crew environment
