Job Description

A prestigious Motor Yacht is currently seeking experienced and qualified professionals to join its crew.

The yacht is recruiting deck officers, engineering personnel, deck crew, purser, culinary, interior, personal assistant, and dive professionals. Successful candidates will contribute to safe yacht operations while maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality, guest service, discretion, and professionalism.

Previous experience onboard Private / Charter Motor Yachts or Superyachts is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform duties according to the assigned position and yacht procedures
• Support safe and efficient day-to-day yacht operations
• Maintain deck, engineering, galley, interior, and guest-service standards
• Deliver exceptional service to owners and charter guests
• Maintain yacht presentation, cleanliness, and operational readiness
• Support guest activities, excursions, water sports, and diving operations where applicable
• Participate in emergency drills, safety training, and onboard risk assessments
• Maintain professional standards of discretion, teamwork, and confidentiality
• Follow yacht safety procedures and applicable maritime regulations

Requirements

• Previous experience in the position applied for, preferably onboard Motor Yachts / Superyachts
• Valid STCW certification package where applicable
• Valid Certificate of Competency / relevant qualification for officer and engineering positions
• Valid ENG1 or equivalent seafarer's medical certificate where applicable
• Valid Passport and Seaman's Book where applicable
• Relevant professional qualifications for specialist positions
• Good English communication skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Strong teamwork, discretion, and guest-service skills
• Physically and medically fit for yacht service

Position-Specific Requirements

Chief Officer
• Valid Deck Officer CoC appropriate to the yacht
• Previous Chief Officer experience on Motor Yachts / Superyachts
• Strong navigation, deck management, and crew supervision skills

2nd Engineer
• Valid Engineer CoC appropriate to the yacht
• Previous yacht engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of engines, generators, auxiliary machinery, and planned maintenance

Bosun
• Previous Bosun experience on Motor Yachts / Superyachts
• Strong deck maintenance and crew supervision skills
• Tender and water-sports experience preferred

Purser
• Previous Purser / Yacht Administrator / senior guest-services experience preferred
• Strong administrative, financial, and organizational skills
• Experience handling guest documentation and yacht administration is an advantage

Sole Chef
• Proven Sole Chef experience on yachts or in luxury hospitality
• Professional culinary qualification preferred
• Strong knowledge of international cuisine and menu planning
• Food Hygiene / Food Safety certification preferred

Chief Steward
• Previous Chief Steward / Chief Stewardess experience on luxury yachts
• Strong leadership and interior management skills
• Excellent guest-service and housekeeping standards

Housekeeping Steward
• Previous yacht or luxury hospitality housekeeping experience
• Strong knowledge of cleaning, laundry, linen, and guest cabin standards

Personal Assistant
• Previous Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or luxury yacht guest-services experience preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• High level of confidentiality and discretion

Deck / Divemaster
• Previous professional yacht deck experience
• Recognized Divemaster / diving qualification
• Experience with diving equipment, water sports, and guest activities preferred
• Strong knowledge of diving and water-safety procedures

Steward
• Previous yacht, hotel, or luxury hospitality experience preferred
• Strong housekeeping, service, and guest-relations skills

2nd Steward
• Previous 2nd Steward / senior Steward experience preferred
• Strong interior service and housekeeping skills
• Ability to support the Chief Steward and manage daily interior duties

Cook / Crew Chef
• Previous Cook / Crew Chef experience onboard yachts or vessels preferred
• Strong knowledge of crew catering and international cuisine
• Food Hygiene / Food Safety certification preferred
