Job Description

A maritime company is currently recruiting qualified and experienced Indian seafarers to join a Passenger Ship of approximately 5,500 GRT.

The company is seeking experienced deck officers, engineering officers, a Radio Officer, Medical Officer, and Electrical Officer. Candidates with passenger ship, offshore, or main-fleet experience are encouraged to apply according to the requirements for each position.

Job Responsibilities

Depending on the assigned position, duties may include:

• Perform duties according to rank and company procedures.
• Support safe passenger ship navigation and daily vessel operations.
• Conduct bridge and engine-room watchkeeping as applicable.
• Maintain navigational, engineering, electrical, and safety systems.
• Support passenger safety, emergency response, drills, and evacuation procedures.
• Carry out planned maintenance, inspections, and technical repairs.
• Maintain accurate operational and statutory records.
• Ensure compliance with STCW, SOLAS, ISM Code, and applicable passenger-vessel safety requirements.
• Work effectively within a professional multinational or Indian crew.

Requirements

General Requirements

• Indian nationality / Indian seafarer documentation.
• Valid STCW certification relevant to the applied position.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and seaman's book.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong safety awareness and professional attitude.
• Physically and medically fit for sea service.

Position-Specific Requirements

Chief Officer

• Valid Indian Foreign-Going (FG) CoC.
• Minimum 6 months' experience on Offshore, Main Fleet, or Passenger vessels.

2nd Officer

• Valid Indian FG CoC.
• Minimum 18 months' experience on Offshore, Main Fleet, or Passenger vessels.

3rd Officer

• Valid Indian FG CoC.
• Fresh CoC holders may apply.

Radio Officer

• Minimum 1 year of experience in rank.
• Valid Radio Officer certification as applicable.

Medical Officer

• MBBS qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Valid medical fitness and professional registration as required.

Chief Engineer

• MOT Class I certification.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.

2nd Engineer

• MOT Class II certification.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience.

3rd Engineer

• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience.
• Relevant engineering certification.

4th Engineer

• Fresh CoC holders may apply.

Electrical Officer

• Diploma in EE / EEE / EIE / ETCE or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
