Hiring for Motor Yacht (USA/EU)

Job Description:

A private/charter Motor Yacht is currently recruiting experienced yacht professionals to join its crew operating in the USA and European waters.

The successful candidates will be responsible for safe yacht operations, engineering maintenance, navigation, culinary services, and luxury hospitality. Previous experience onboard private or charter motor yachts is preferred.

Open Positions:

Deck Department

• Captain – USD 10,000/month
 • 1st Mate – USD 6,000/month

Engineering Department

• 2nd Engineer – EUR 6,000/month

Galley Department

• Sole Chef – EUR 9,000/month

Interior Department

• Steward – EUR 4,000/month

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform duties according to the assigned yacht position
 • Ensure safe and efficient day-to-day yacht operations
 • Maintain navigation, engineering, deck, and guest-service standards as applicable
 • Deliver high-quality service to owners and guests
 • Maintain yacht presentation, cleanliness, and operational readiness
 • Follow maritime regulations, yacht safety procedures, and company policies
 • Participate in emergency drills and onboard safety training

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the same position onboard Private or Charter Motor Yachts preferred
 • Relevant maritime or yacht qualifications for the applied position
 • Valid STCW certification package where applicable
 • Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) for Captain, Mate, and Engineer positions
 • Valid ENG1 or equivalent seafarer's medical certificate
 • Valid passport and relevant visa/work authorization for the operating area
 • Good English communication skills
 • Professional appearance and excellent teamwork skills
 • Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
 • Previous luxury yacht experience is an advantage
