Job Description:
Rooster Recruitment is hiring crew members for a Private & Charter Motor Yacht operating globally. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team aboard a luxury vessel serving high-profile private owners and charter guests. The yacht offers a professional working environment with a strong focus on guest service, safety, and maintaining top-tier standards.
Multiple positions are available for candidates with at least 1–2 years of yachting experience. Contracts are seasonal or long-term depending on performance and program needs. The vessel travels between the Mediterranean, Caribbean, U.S., and other international regions.
Open Roles & Salaries:
• Bosun – USD $8,000/month
• Deckhand – USD $4,200/month
• Deck/Carpenter – USD $4,000/month
• Chief Steward(ess) – USD $8,000/month
• Spa Therapist/Steward(ess) – EUR €5,000/month
• Steward(ess) – EUR €3,500/month
• Laundry Steward(ess) – DOE (Depends on Experience)
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting in docking, anchoring, and watersport operations (deck team)
• Housekeeping, laundry, and interior detailing (interior team)
• Guest service and hospitality during private and charter operations
• Maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and discretion
• Performing specific technical or service-based tasks per role (e.g., spa treatments, carpentry)
Requirements:
• Valid STCW 95 / STCW 2010 Certificates
• Valid ENG1 Medical Certificate
• 1–2 years of prior yachting experience (required)
• Proficiency in English communication
• Visas:
B1/B2 visa advantageous (for U.S. waters)
Schengen visa or visa-free entry to the EU preferred
EU residence also acceptable
Employment Details:
• Start Date: Early November
• Contract Duration: Seasonal or permanent (TBD)
• Salary: As listed (DOE for Laundry Steward)
