Job Description:
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Fitter to join a Seven Seas Vessel for a 6-week contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out mechanical maintenance, repair, and fabrication work to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. Candidates must possess all required offshore certifications and documentation, including a valid US Visa B1 OCS.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and shipboard equipment.
Carry out fabrication, fitting, and steelwork as required onboard.
Assist engineering personnel during machinery maintenance and overhauls.
Ensure compliance with company maintenance procedures and offshore safety standards.
Maintain tools, workshop equipment, and technical documentation.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Passport
US Visa B1 OCS
Valid Seaman's Book
Vaccination Records
Marlins English Test Certificate
Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC)
OPITO-approved BOSIET / FOET / HUET including CA-EBS
Previous experience as a Fitter on offshore vessels is preferred
