ETO for Hospital Ship (West Africa)

Role Overview

McNeill Marine is recruiting an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) for a unique opportunity onboard a hospital ship operating in West Africa. This is an excellent opportunity to join a humanitarian maritime project supporting vital healthcare services. The client has a preference for candidates with passenger vessel experience, although experienced ETOs from other sectors with a strong technical background will also be considered.

Requirements

• STCW III/6 Electro-Technical Officer Certificate of Competency
• Valid STCW Basic Safety Training
• Crowd Management
• Crisis Management & Human Behaviour
• Security Awareness
• Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats (other than Fast Rescue Craft)
• Advanced Fire Fighting
• Medical First Aid
• Valid ENG1 or equivalent seafarer's medical
• Passenger vessel experience preferred
• Vaccinations (held or willing to obtain): Yellow Fever, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid, Tetanus, MMR, Diphtheria, COVID
