Job Description

The First Electrician will oversee electrical maintenance and repairs to support the safe and reliable operation of the vessel's electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain electrical distribution systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults.
• Supervise or coordinate assigned electrical maintenance tasks.
• Maintain electrical tools, spare parts, and technical records.
• Ensure safe electrical working practices onboard.

Requirements

• Relevant electrical qualifications and licenses required by the employer.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate, as applicable.
• Previous shipboard electrical experience.
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills.
• Good English communication and teamwork skills.
