Job Description:
SSM Maritime Services Inc. is recruiting a qualified Medic / Nurse to join a Passenger Vessel. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical assistance to passengers and crew, maintaining medical records, and supporting onboard health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Providing medical care and first-aid assistance to passengers and crew.
- Assessing and responding to medical incidents onboard.
- Maintaining medical records and supplies.
- Monitoring hygiene and health standards onboard.
- Following vessel medical procedures and emergency protocols.
Requirements:
- Qualified Medic / Nurse with relevant professional credentials.
- Previous experience in a similar position.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Valid STCW certificates, where applicable.
- Valid professional and seafarer documentation.
- Proficiency in English communication.
