Job Description
Silver Crews is seeking a qualified Doctor for a 100m luxury yacht. The successful candidate will provide appropriate medical care for guests and crew, support onboard medical preparedness, and help maintain a safe and healthy environment throughout the assignment.
Candidates with experience in maritime medicine, remote medical care, emergency medicine, or cruise ship and yacht environments are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical assessment and care within the scope of professional qualifications and licensing.
- Assess and manage medical concerns involving guests and crew.
- Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate appropriate treatment.
- Maintain medical equipment, supplies, and emergency medical provisions.
- Keep accurate and confidential medical records.
- Support onboard health, hygiene, and illness-prevention procedures.
- Advise on medical evacuation or referral when required.
- Assist with medical emergency preparedness and relevant onboard procedures.
- Maintain professional discretion when handling sensitive medical information.
Requirements
- Recognized medical qualification and valid professional registration or license, as applicable.
- Relevant clinical experience and current authorization to practise.
- Emergency medicine, remote medicine, maritime medicine, or cruise ship experience preferred.
- Ability to assess medical situations and respond effectively in a remote environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively with an international crew and guests.
- Availability for the advertised 2:2 rotation.
