Urgent Temporary Deckhand for 30m+ Private Motor Yacht

Location: Gold Coast, Australia

Job Description:

An Australian-based Deckhand is required immediately for a two-week contract aboard a 30m+ private motor yacht while the vessel is in dock on the Gold Coast.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out in-port watches.
• Perform washdowns, basic maintenance and detailing.
• Work independently under daytime direction from the Captain.

Requirements:

• Previous yacht experience.
• Ability to complete assigned work without extensive oversight.
• Immediate availability.
• Candidates located near the Gold Coast are preferred, although a short domestic flight may be considered.

Employment Details:

• Vessel: 30m+ Private Motor Yacht
• Contract Duration: 14 consecutive days
• Salary: AUD 400 per day
• Accommodation: Live aboard with own cabin
• Joining: Immediate
