Job Description:

Rooster Recruitment is seeking an experienced Lead Deckhand for sailing and motor yachts operating worldwide. The successful candidate will support the Bosun and senior officers in coordinating deck operations, maintaining the yacht’s exterior, and delivering professional service during guest activities.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Coordinating daily deck duties and assisting in guiding other deckhands.
• Maintaining and detailing exterior surfaces, deck equipment, and guest areas.
• Assisting with mooring, anchoring, tender driving, and water-sports activities as applicable.
• Supporting safe guest transfers and onboard activities.
• Ensuring compliance with deck safety procedures and yacht presentation standards.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Deckhand or Lead Deckhand on sailing yachts or motor yachts.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate, where required.
• Valid passport and relevant seafarer documentation.
• Good English communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
