Job Description

MYSAUST is recruiting an experienced Lead Deckhand to join a Motor Yacht operating in Australia and French Polynesia.

The successful candidate will support the safe operation of the deck department, supervise deck crew activities and maintain the yacht's exterior to a high professional standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily deck operations and assign duties to deck crew
• Supervise exterior cleaning, maintenance and preservation
• Assist with tender operations and water sports activities
• Participate in anchoring, mooring and docking operations
• Maintain deck equipment and safety gear
• Support guest activities and ensure a high standard of service

Requirements

• Previous Lead Deckhand or senior Deckhand experience onboard motor yachts
• Strong knowledge of deck operations and yacht maintenance
• Valid STCW certification
• Valid ENG1 or equivalent seafarer medical certificate
• Valid passport and relevant travel documentation
• Good English communication skills
• Strong leadership, organisation and teamwork abilities
