Job Description

Inspired Crew is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Deckhand / Kitesurf & Surf Instructor to join a large private motor yacht.

This is an excellent opportunity for a watersports enthusiast who enjoys working closely with guests and delivering memorable experiences on the water. The successful candidate will confidently provide kitesurfing and surfing instruction to adults and children while supporting the deck team with daily operations.

The role combines watersports instruction with general deck duties, including vessel maintenance, cleaning, and tender operations.

Previous yachting experience is preferred but not essential. Strong watersports skills, relevant instructional experience, and an outgoing, guest-focused personality are key.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and deliver kitesurfing and surfing activities for owners and guests.
• Provide safe, engaging instruction to adults and children with varying levels of experience.
• Prepare, inspect, maintain, and stow watersports equipment.
• Assist with other watersports activities, including wakeboarding, where appropriate.
• Support tender operations and guest transfers as required.
• Carry out routine deck maintenance, cleaning, and general housekeeping.
• Assist the deck team with daily operations and onboard duties.
• Follow safety procedures during all watersports and tender activities.
• Provide excellent guest service while maintaining a professional and positive attitude.
• Work collaboratively with the wider crew to ensure enjoyable and safe guest experiences.

Requirements

• Strong kitesurfing and surfing skills.
• Confidence teaching and assisting guests of all ages, including children.
• Previous watersports instruction experience highly desirable.
• Relevant watersports instructor qualifications preferred.
• Wakeboarding and experience with other watersports advantageous.
• Ability to assist with general deck duties and tender operations.
• Excellent communication and guest-interaction skills.
• Energetic, proactive, personable, and team-oriented attitude.
• Previous yachting experience preferred but not essential.
• Valid STCW certificates – essential.
• Valid ENG1 medical certificate – essential.
• B1/B2 visa – ideally required.
• Willingness to work a permanent 3:1 rotation.
• Availability to start in mid-November 2026.
