Job Description

A stunning sailing yacht is seeking an experienced Sailing Deckhand to join its established crew in Spain.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a yacht with strong crew longevity and a commitment to crew training and professional development. The successful candidate will have practical sailing experience, a proactive attitude, and a strong understanding of deck operations and yacht maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with sailing operations, including sail handling and deck activities.
• Maintain the yacht's exterior through cleaning, polishing, and routine maintenance.
• Support mooring, anchoring, and tender operations.
• Assist with safety checks and participate in emergency drills.
• Maintain deck equipment and ensure work areas remain clean and organized.
• Work collaboratively with the Captain and other crew members to ensure safe and efficient yacht operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Deckhand aboard a sailing yacht.
• Practical knowledge of sailing operations and deck maintenance.
• Valid STCW 95 / STCW 2010 certificates.
• Valid ENG1 medical certificate.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
