Job Description:

Rooster Recruitment is seeking a skilled Deck / Carpenter for sailing and motor yachts operating worldwide. The successful candidate will perform deck duties and assist with carpentry, repairs, and maintenance to maintain the yacht’s exterior areas and fittings in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Performing routine deck maintenance, cleaning, and detailing.
• Carrying out carpentry repairs and maintenance of yacht fittings where qualified.
• Assisting with mooring, anchoring, and tender operations.
• Inspecting deck structures, fixtures, and equipment and reporting defects.
• Following onboard safety procedures and maintaining high presentation standards.

Requirements:

• Relevant yacht deck experience and practical carpentry skills.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate, where required.
• Valid passport and relevant seafarer documentation.
• Good English communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices.
