Job Description:

A-Z Yachting is seeking an experienced Chief Officer to join sailing or motor yachts operating worldwide. The successful candidate should have relevant yachting experience, appropriate professional qualifications, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to onboard safety and operational excellence.

The role involves supporting yacht operations, coordinating deck activities, assisting with navigation, supervising crew members, and ensuring compliance with yacht procedures and maritime regulations. Joining date and contract duration are to be confirmed.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with navigation, passage planning, and safe yacht operations.
• Supervise deck crew and coordinate daily deck activities.
• Maintain deck equipment, safety systems, and exterior areas.
• Ensure compliance with onboard safety procedures and maritime regulations.
• Support the Captain in maintaining professional standards onboard.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid ENG1 or an accepted equivalent seafarer medical certificate, where required.
• Appropriate Certificate of Competency for the position.
• Relevant experience as a Chief Officer or in a similar role aboard sailing or motor yachts.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to onboard safety and high professional standards.
