Chief Mate for Motor Yacht

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Chief Mate for a rotational yacht position. The successful candidate will support the Captain in managing deck operations, navigation, crew supervision, and onboard safety while ensuring the vessel remains in excellent operational condition.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting the Captain with navigation and safe vessel operations.
• Supervising deck crew and coordinating daily deck activities.
• Managing deck maintenance, inspections, and equipment readiness.
• Conducting safety drills and ensuring compliance with onboard procedures.
• Supporting guest activities and special operations as required.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Appropriate Chief Mate qualifications and endorsements.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Previous yacht experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
