Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to oversee the vessel's engine department, machinery operations, maintenance activities, and technical safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the operation and maintenance of all machinery and engine-room systems.
• Manage the engine department and allocate duties to engineering personnel.
• Plan preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs.
• Monitor fuel consumption, spare parts, and technical stores.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable maritime regulations.

Requirements

• Valid Chief Engineer CoC appropriate to the vessel's propulsion power and trading area.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Previous experience in a senior engineering position.
• Strong technical, leadership, and troubleshooting skills.
• Good English communication skills.
