YachtCrew UK is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join a busy 62m private/charter motor yacht on a rotational basis.
The yacht operates an extremely busy dual-season charter programme, with additional owner's trips scheduled between charters. The vessel is currently in the Mediterranean and will travel to the Caribbean for a busy season before returning to the Mediterranean for an already-booked charter season.
Due to the demanding nature of the programme, the ideal candidate will be a proactive and forward-thinking engineer who can manage last-minute changes, anticipate technical requirements, and maintain excellent engineering standards under pressure.
The yacht has a three-person engineering team and a strong onboard crew dynamic. A sociable, outgoing candidate who enjoys working collaboratively and interacting with the wider crew will be well suited to this position.
Although the start date is not until late December 2026, interviews are taking place now, and the successful candidate may be able to secure and sign a Seafarer's Employment Agreement (SEA) in advance.
