Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Staff Captain to serve as the second-in-command onboard the vessel. The Staff Captain is responsible for overseeing all aspects related to vessel maintenance, safety, security, and environmental protection. This role includes supervising Deck Department operations and ensuring full compliance with international maritime regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, operational oversight, and the ability to support the Captain in both routine operations and emergency situations across various vessel types and itineraries.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Acting as second-in-command and supporting the Captain in daily operations
• Overseeing vessel maintenance, safety, and security procedures
• Managing and monitoring Deck Department activities
• Ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, and maritime regulations
• Coordinating with port authorities and regulatory bodies

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates (STCW95)
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) Master Unlimited A-II/2
• Extensive experience as a Staff Captain on various vessel types
