Location: Brisbane, Hamilton Island, Cairns, Tasmania and South Pacific
Job Description:
A senior deck professional or Mate is sought for a first full-time Junior Captain position aboard a recently built 75ft private motor yacht. The Captain will be the vessel's only full-time crew member and will operate a relaxed owner and fishing program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Command the vessel during its Australian and South Pacific cruising program.
- Carry out washdowns, detailing and basic engineering work.
- Coordinate casual crew for deliveries.
- Assist with basic interior tidying and maintain a clean onboard environment.
Requirements:
- Experience on superyachts or commercial tourism vessels.
- Drive time on larger vessels or tenders.
- Ability to work independently.
- East Coast Australia cruising experience.
- Master 5 or Yachtmaster is preferred.
- Australian working rights.
- Commitment to a minimum two-year travelling program.
