Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced Motorman to join a luxury yacht. The successful candidate will assist the engineering department in maintaining and operating all machinery and technical systems onboard, ensuring smooth and safe yacht operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assisting engineers with daily checks, maintenance, and repairs of engine room machinery
- Monitoring fuel, oil, cooling, and lubrication systems
- Performing routine cleaning and upkeep of machinery spaces
- Reporting technical issues and assisting in troubleshooting
- Supporting the engineering team in compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates and ENG1 medical
- Proven engine room experience (yachts, ships, or offshore vessels)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge
- Proficiency in English communication
- Ability to work as part of a multinational crew
