Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join a luxury yacht. The Carpenter will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing woodwork and interior/exterior fittings onboard, ensuring the highest standards of presentation and guest comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Performing maintenance, repair, and refinishing of yacht woodwork and furniture
- Assisting with interior and exterior refurbishments as required
- Supporting deck and interior teams with repair projects
- Ensuring work is performed safely and to luxury yacht standards
- Maintaining inventory of carpentry tools and materials
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates and ENG1 medical
- Proven carpentry/woodworking skills with high attention to detail
- Previous yacht, cruise ship, or luxury hospitality experience preferred
- Proficiency in English communication
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within the crew
