Job Description:

An exciting opportunity is available for an active, hands-on Bosun to join a modern 499 GT private and charter motor yacht.

The yacht operates both privately and for charter, welcoming paying guests. The successful candidate should have strong deck experience, practical skills and the ability to actively participate in daily deck operations.

A couple may also be considered for this position.

Start Date: 23 November 2026

Candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience onboard luxury yachts are required. Previous experience on charter yachts with paying guests is essential, with experience in both the Caribbean and Mediterranean preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

As per yacht management and company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Supervising and participating in daily deck operations
• Maintaining the yacht's exterior, equipment and deck areas
• Assisting with mooring, anchoring and tender operations
• Supporting guest activities and maintaining high service standards
• Ensuring compliance with onboard safety procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience onboard luxury yachts
• Previous experience on charter yachts with paying guests
• Experience in the Caribbean and Mediterranean preferred
• Active, hands-on approach to deck duties
• Valid STCW 95 / STCW 2010 certificates
• Valid ENG1 medical certificate
• International Driving Permit (IDP)
• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore qualification, or equivalent Merchant, USCG or AMSA qualification
• Good English communication skills
• Strong teamwork and leadership abilities
