Location: Worldwide – Luxury Yachts
Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified 2nd Officer to join a luxury yacht. The 2nd Officer will support navigation, safety, and deck operations, ensuring compliance with international maritime standards and providing high-level service within the yachting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the Chief Officer and Captain with navigation and voyage planning
- Standing watch and ensuring safe bridge operations
- Maintaining navigational charts, publications, and bridge equipment
- Supervising deck crew in daily operations and maintenance
- Supporting safety drills, inspections, and ISM/ISPS compliance
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates, OOW (Yachts) or equivalent license
- ENG1 medical fitness certificate
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role (yacht/cruise/offshore)
- Strong navigational, safety, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in English communication
