Job Description:
A leading European ferry operator is recruiting Able Seamen (AB) and Ordinary Seamen (OS) to join a Ro-Pax Ferry sailing under the Italian flag. The successful candidates will join the vessel on 10 August 2026 and work on a stable 2 months on / 1 month off rotation.
Open Positions:
- Able Seaman (AB) – STCW II/5
- Ordinary Seaman (OS) – STCW II/4
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out deck maintenance, mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations.
- Assist with passenger embarkation and disembarkation procedures.
- Perform navigational watchkeeping duties according to assigned rank.
- Maintain lifesaving and firefighting equipment in operational condition.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, SOLAS, STCW, and passenger vessel safety regulations.
- Support safe and efficient day-to-day operations onboard the Ro-Pax Ferry.
Requirements:
- Valid STCW II/5 Certificate (for AB) or STCW II/4 Certificate (for OS).
- Knowledge of the Italian language (mandatory).
- Valid Passenger Ship Safety Certificate (mandatory).
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid Seafarer's Medical Certificate.
- Seaman's Book.
- Valid Passport.
- Previous experience on Ro-Pax or Passenger Vessels will be considered an advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
