Job Description:
Viking Crew is recruiting a 3rd Officer for a yacht of more than 100 metres that is undergoing an extended shipyard period in Italy. This is a hands-on, deck-focused role supporting the Chief Officer with planned maintenance and daily deck operations. The vessel will not offer sea time during the yard period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Officer with planned maintenance.
- Support daily deck operations.
- Carry out hands-on outdoor deck work during the shipyard period.
Requirements:
- Newly licensed Officer of the Watch candidates may apply.
- Experienced yacht deckhands holding Deck STCW II/1 (OOW Unlimited) may apply.
- Europe-based candidates with a valid visa are preferred.
Employment Details:
- Vessel: 100m+ yacht.
- Location: Italy.
- Employment Type: Permanent.
- Rotation: 3 months on and 1 month off.
