Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Sole Engineer to join a private/luxury yacht. The candidate will be fully responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all engineering systems onboard. This is a hands-on role requiring independence, technical expertise, and strong problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Managing and maintaining all engine room and yacht technical systems
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Ensuring compliance with maritime safety and environmental standards
- Maintaining engine room logs, records, and spare parts inventory
- Supporting the captain and crew in safe daily yacht operations
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates and yacht engineering license
- Medical fitness certificate
- Minimum 3–5 years of yacht or small vessel engineering experience
- Ability to work independently and handle all aspects of yacht engineering
- Proficiency in English communication
