2nd Engineer for Yacht

We are looking for a qualified 2nd Engineer to join a luxury yacht. The successful candidate will assist the Chief Engineer in the safe and efficient operation of all technical systems onboard, ensuring smooth daily operations and compliance with international maritime standards.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with maintenance and repair of engine room machinery and yacht technical systems
• Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Monitoring fuel, oil, and water systems
• Supervising motormen, fitters, and technical support staff
• Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates and yacht engineering license
• Medical fitness certificate
• Strong engineering background with relevant hands-on experience
• Proficiency in English communication
• Previous yacht or cruise ship experience preferred
