Job Description:
An experienced Mate / Relief Captain is required for a 15m+ sportfishing chase boat supporting a 70m+ private superyacht. The position combines day-to-day Mate duties, relief command, deck operations and offshore sportfishing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out Mate duties and take command during relief periods.
- Support offshore sportfishing operations and assist guests.
- Rig and manage heavy-tackle fishing equipment.
- Maintain the chase boat, deck areas and equipment.
- Undertake solo night watches when required.
Requirements:
- Experience aboard superyachts or comparable high-end vessels.
- Experience captaining support tenders or chase boats of 12m or larger.
- Extensive big-game sportfishing experience, including marlin and tuna.
- Valid STCW and seafarer medical certificate.
- Captain's licence is advantageous.
- B1/B2 visa is preferred but not essential.
