Job Description
An offshore operator is seeking experienced Stewards to join a Drillship on a long-term contract with a 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation.
The Steward will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort throughout crew accommodation areas. Duties include cabin cleaning, linen and amenity management, inspections, housekeeping support, and responding to crew requests.
Joining is available every week, subject to project requirements and candidate availability.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Clean and maintain cabins to a high standard of hygiene, cleanliness, and comfort.
- Change bed linen, replenish towels, and maintain cabin amenities.
- Monitor cleaning and cabin supplies and report shortages or damaged items.
- Conduct regular cabin inspections and report maintenance issues or damages.
- Respond professionally to crew requests and maintain a high standard of onboard service.
- Maintain accurate housekeeping records, cleaning schedules, and inspection reports.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cabin Steward / Housekeeping Steward
- Maritime or offshore housekeeping experience is preferred
- Relevant hospitality or housekeeping certifications
- Relevant OPITO training – Required
- Good physical fitness and ability to work offshore
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Good knowledge of English
- Ability to follow company safety policies and procedures
- Valid offshore medical and required documentation
