Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Steward/ess to join a Cable Lay vessel operating in the UK. This is a 5-week assignment starting on 8th April. Candidates must hold a UK FWP (Full Working Permit) or have valid UK working rights. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced catering professionals seeking short-term offshore placement.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy and position, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
· Provision of catering, housekeeping, and hospitality services for crew and personnel onboard
· Maintenance of cleanliness in galley, mess rooms, and living quarters
· Assistance with food preparation, stock management, and inventory control
· Compliance with all safety management systems, hygiene standards, and catering protocols
· Support to the Chief Cook in daily catering operations as required

Requirements:
· UK FWP (Full Working Permit) or valid UK working rights – mandatory
· BOSIET CA EBS (valid offshore survival certificate)
· STCW certificates as applicable (Basic Safety Training, etc.)
· GWO Sea Survival – this can be arranged if you have the other certificates required
· Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written)
· Experience: Proven experience in a similar role on offshore vessels is preferred
· Availability: Must be available to join on 8th April
