Steward for SOV (UK)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Steward to join our client's SOV  operating in UK waters. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting onboard catering and housekeeping operations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and service.

The position offers a 4-week assignment followed by a 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation. Candidates must hold the required maritime, medical, security, food hygiene, and UK work authorization documents.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Providing housekeeping and accommodation services onboard.
• Assisting with meal and catering service as required.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Supporting galley and mess room operations.
• Following onboard health, safety, security, and food hygiene procedures.

Requirements:

• Full valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Seafarers Medical.
• Valid Drug & Alcohol (D&A) Test.
• Valid Passport.
• Valid Seaman's Book.
• Ships Security Awareness certificate.
• Valid Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Valid UK Right to Work.
• Previous relevant maritime experience preferred.
• Available to join on 09 September 2026.

Employment Details:

• Contract / Initial Assignment: 4 weeks
• Rotation: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off
