Job Description:
We are recruiting an experienced Steward to join a Self-Propelled Jack-Up Vessel carrying out wind farm maintenance operations in UK coastal waters. The position is temporary, with joining scheduled for 26 August 2026 for an initial 4–8 week contract.
The successful candidate will support the onboard catering and housekeeping operations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and service for the crew. The vessel operates under an EU flag, with employment through UK PAYE, including UK tax and social deductions at source.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Provide professional catering and housekeeping support onboard.
Assist with meal service and maintain cleanliness of dining and accommodation areas.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and onboard cleanliness.
Assist with galley and catering duties as required.
Follow all vessel safety, hygiene, and offshore operational procedures.
Requirements:
Right to work in the UK.
Valid HUET – Helicopter Underwater Escape Training.
Valid GWO Basic Safety Training.
Valid Food Hygiene certificate.
Valid STCW Basic Safety Training.
Valid Seafarer Medical certificate.
Good English communication skills.
Previous offshore vessel or catering experience is preferred.
