Job Description:
An offshore opportunity is available for a Steward to join a Jack-Up vessel operating in the UK sector, with joining scheduled for 14th April and a short-term 6-week contract. The role involves supporting onboard hospitality services and ensuring high standards of cleanliness, catering assistance, and crew welfare. Candidates must be familiar with offshore working conditions and compliant with all required UK and GWO certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in accommodation and common areas
• Assisting in food service and galley operations
• Supporting overall crew welfare and housekeeping duties
• Ensuring compliance with offshore safety and hygiene regulations
• Assisting catering staff as required
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• UK FWP (Full Working Permit)
• GWO WAH (Working at Heights)
• GWO SS (Sea Survival)
• HUET CA EBS
• STCW BST
• STCW DSD
• Previous offshore experience preferred
