Job Description:
A leading offshore company is seeking an experienced Steward to join a Jack-Up Vessel operating in UK waters. The successful candidate will provide high-quality catering support, housekeeping services, and onboard hospitality to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for all personnel onboard.
The position is suitable for offshore hospitality professionals with previous experience on similar vessel types. Candidates must hold valid offshore certifications and have the right to work in the UK through citizenship or a valid UK Frontier Worker Permit (FWP).
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accommodation areas and public spaces.
Support catering operations, meal service, and galley activities.
Provide housekeeping and hospitality services for offshore personnel.
Maintain food safety and onboard sanitation standards.
Follow company HSE procedures and offshore safety requirements.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid UK Frontier Worker Permit (FWP) or UK Citizenship required
Previous experience as a Steward on similar offshore vessels
Good offshore catering and hospitality experience
Valid BOSIET certificate
Chester Step Test certificate
GWO Working at Heights (WOH) certification

Contract Duration: 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off rotation
