Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Steward to join a DP2 Construction Vessel operating offshore in the United Kingdom. This position offers a 4-week rotational schedule, with joining on 29 July. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality catering and housekeeping services onboard, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for the crew. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK and hold all required maritime certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain cleanliness of accommodation, galley, and communal areas.
Assist with meal preparation, serving, and galley operations.
Manage housekeeping duties, laundry services, and inventory of cleaning supplies.
Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health, and safety standards.
Support the welfare of the crew by maintaining a clean and comfortable onboard environment.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Valid Medical First Aid certificate.
Valid Passport.
Valid Seaman's Book.
Legal right to work in the United Kingdom is mandatory.
Previous experience as a Steward on offshore or construction vessels is preferred.
